Payment Policy

At eagleblack, checkout is fast, secure, and transparent. Every T-shirt is printed to order, and we only partner with trusted payment providers so you can buy with confidence.

1) Accepted Payment Methods (USA)

  • Stripe (Credit/Debit Cards): Pay with major cards processed by Stripe at checkout.

  • PayPal: Pay using your PayPal balance, linked bank account, or card through PayPal.

We do not accept cash, checks, money orders, or cryptocurrency. All orders are paid in full at checkout.

2) How Checkout Works (Step-by-Step)

  1. Review your cart and shipping method (USPS, USA-only).

  2. Enter shipping details accurately (street, unit, city, state, ZIP).

  3. Select a payment method: Stripe or PayPal.

  4. Confirm your order.

  5. You’ll receive an order confirmation email immediately. When your label is created, you’ll get a shipping confirmation with USPS tracking.

3) Authorization, Capture & Timing

  • Stripe (cards): Your bank may place a temporary authorization hold when you submit payment. We capture the charge when the order enters production (typically within 1–2 business days, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM PT; cut-off 6:00 PM PT).

  • PayPal: PayPal payments are usually captured at order placement. If PayPal marks a payment as eCheck/pending, we begin production after PayPal confirms funds.

  • Cancellations: If you request to cancel within 2 hours and we have not started production, we’ll void the authorization or refund the capture (see Refunds below).

4) Payment Security (What We Do to Protect You)

  • Industry-standard encryption (TLS) is enforced on every page that transmits payment data.

  • Stripe and PayPal are PCI DSS Level 1–validated payment processors.

  • Tokenization: Card details are securely transmitted to Stripe/PayPal; eagleblack never stores full card numbers, CVV, or magnetic-stripe data.

  • Fraud screening: We may use tools such as AVS, CVV checks, and risk scoring. Some orders may require additional verification (e.g., address confirmation) before processing.

  • Account privacy: We only use your contact details to process your order, deliver updates, and provide support.

5) Payment Confirmation & Receipts

  • Immediately after checkout, you’ll receive an order confirmation email from eagleblack with your order number.

  • Stripe/PayPal may also send their own payment receipt.

  • When your shipping label is created, we email a shipping confirmation with your USPS tracking link.

  • Didn’t get an email? Check spam/junk, then contact contact@eagleblack.net with your order number.

6) Pricing Transparency, Currency & Taxes

  • Currency: All prices and charges are in USD.

  • Taxes at checkout: We do not collect sales tax at checkout on orders placed at eagleblack.com.

    • Where applicable, you may be responsible for reporting/remitting use tax to your state.

  • No payment surcharges: eagleblack does not add payment processing fees to your order total.

  • Promotions: Discount codes apply to merchandise subtotal (before shipping). One code per order unless explicitly stated.

7) Refunds to Your Original Payment Method

  • If a refund is approved (e.g., a return or cancellation within policy), we initiate the refund to your original method of payment.

  • Posting times: Banks and payment providers typically post refunds in 3–5 business days after we initiate them via Stripe or PayPal.

  • For partial refunds, order-level discounts may be recalculated based on items kept.

8) Payment Issues: Declines, Errors & Duplicate Charges

  • Declines: Check card number, expiration, CVV, billing ZIP, or available funds; try another card or PayPal.

  • Duplicate pending charges: Submitting the form multiple times can create multiple authorizations. Banks usually release extra holds automatically. If a duplicate posts, email us and we’ll assist.

  • PayPal review: If PayPal flags a transaction for review, we’ll email you; production begins after PayPal clears it.

9) Order Verification & Holds (Keeping Checkout Safe)

  • To prevent fraud and protect cardholders, we may hold an order briefly to confirm billing/shipping details.

  • Once verified—usually same or next business day—your order resumes normal processing (see Shipping Policy for timelines).

10) Chargebacks & Dispute Resolution

  • If anything looks wrong—amount, line items, or status—please email us first at contact@eagleblack.net.

  • We resolve most payment questions within 1–2 business days, and shipping-related investigations within 5–7 business days.

  • If a bank/PayPal dispute is opened, we’ll respond with order and tracking evidence. We’re always happy to resolve directly with you faster.

11) What We Don’t Offer (For Clarity)

  • No COD (cash on delivery), bank transfers, checks, store credit, gift cards, or buy-now-pay-later at this time.

  • No recurring subscriptions; each T-shirt order is a one-time purchase.
